What is a 2FA app?

A Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) app is a mobile app that generates a time-based, one-time code you use to securely log into your Rumble account after entering your password. This app works even if your phone doesn’t have service or Wi-Fi, since the codes are created locally on your device.

Recommended 2FA Apps

You can use any standard authenticator app that supports QR codes, such as:

How to Download a 2FA App

On iPhone (iOS):

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Search for Authenticator, choose the app of your preference.
  3. Tap Get to install the app on your phone.

On Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for Authenticator, choose the app of your preference.
  3. Tap Install to download the app.

How to Connect the App to Your Rumble Account

  1. Log in to Rumble on a desktop or mobile browser.
  2. Go to your Security Settings.
  3. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  4. Choose the Authenticator App as one of your methods.
  5. A QR code will appear on screen.
  6. Open your 2FA app and tap Add Account or Scan QR Code.
  7. Use your phone’s camera to scan the code shown on Rumble.
  8. Enter the 6-digit code from your app into the Rumble setup page to confirm.

That’s it — your account is now linked to your authenticator app.

Can I use more than one app or device?

Yes. You can scan the same QR code with multiple devices during setup (for example, your phone and tablet) to ensure you have a backup in case one device is lost.

What if I change phones?

Before switching to a new phone, make sure you still have access to your recovery codes or add a second 2FA method (email or SMS). If you no longer have access to your old device or codes, contact Rumble Support for help.

Tip for Extra Security

Store your recovery codes in a secure place — not on your phone. A password manager or printed copy kept somewhere safe is best.
